It’s true that children grow at their own pace; however, you are your child’s first teacher and know them best. Research shows that early detection of developmental delays is important so that your child can receive early intervention services to support their developmental needs. Therefore, you should share any concerns regarding your child’s progress with their doctor. Or, visit one of the local free health clinics available in your area.
