Throughout the fall and winter, Milwaukee PBS offers several FREE workshops for children and teachers. At Storytelling 101, children will learn the basics of storytelling and learn how art makes stories come alive.
Storytelling 101 teaches children to identify story and illustration elements and is offered to children enrolled in kindergarten through third grade, accompanied by a parent or teacher, in southeastern Wisconsin. Each session is 45-60 minutes in length.

Children in kindergarten through third grade and their parents can join this four-week project. You’ll learn the parts of a story, how to come up with your story idea and what you need to do to illustrate your story.
When you’re all finished, you can enter your creation in Milwaukee PBS KIDS Young Writers Contest!
Parents are encouraged to join and be part of the process!
