Session 1, VOL 20 | Drain

This song is a whimsical creation, heavily influenced by the likes of Pinegrove and Americana Indie music. The catchy riff, born a year ago, laid the groundwork for its melody. While the music flowed effortlessly, penning down the lyrics was a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, the song blossomed into a reflective piece, exploring themes of self-discovery and personal growth. The opening lines, "I caught a glimpse when I was a better man, but now that fleeting, watch it trickle down the drain again," set the tone for introspection. Unlike his earlier work, which painted a broader picture of his life, this track delves into recent experiences, particularly a year marked by significant personal evolution. Through gentle reflection, the artist shares the ups and downs of this transformative journey with listeners, offering a relaxed and genuine portrayal of his inner world.
