"Embozi" is one of my most personal songs—it was meant to be my last. It came from a place of feeling lost, disconnected, and unsure if I could keep going with music. But on a long drive to Nashville, with nothing but silence and my thoughts, I finally heard the voice that had always guided me. Embozi means talk or rumor in Uganda, and this song is about drowning out the noise and finding my way back.

"Golden Brown" is a love song for my wife—written as a quiet tribute while working on my first album. Over time, its meaning has deepened as our family has grown, now reflecting not just my love for her but also for our son. It’s a song about love, gratitude, and the fear of losing what means the most.
