ORIGINAL TRACKS

 Apartment | Session 1, VOL25

"Apartment" is a raw and introspective original song born from a place of doubt and inner turmoil. It delves into the sensation of feeling overwhelmed by the constant presence of others and the pressure to meet their expectations. Penned during a time when the artist was grappling with self-doubt and the relentless scrutiny of both external voices and their own inner critic, the song captures the struggle of navigating through a world where every step feels judged.

The lyrics paint a vivid picture of the inner conflict, with the artist grappling with the conflicting desires of wanting to improve oneself while also feeling the weight of unrealistic expectations. The metaphorical voices in their head, oscillating between pushing for improvement and harboring darker thoughts, mirror the constant battle against overthinking and self-criticism.

"Apartment" encapsulates a desire for solitude and retreat from the complexities of the outside world. The title itself evokes the image of a sanctuary, a safe haven where one can escape the noise and chaos of everyday life. Through its poignant lyrics and emotive melody, the song captures the universal sentiment of wanting to retreat into oneself amidst the challenges and pressures of existence, echoing the adage that sometimes, indeed, "more people, more problems."
