MEET THE ARTIST
Meet Nathaniel K. Lynn, a Milwaukee-based violinist whose journey began at just three years old with the Suzuki method. From his early years performing in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra to his current work as a freelance musician, Nathaniel’s artistry blends classical discipline with the soulful spontaneity of funk, R&B, and modern indie sounds.
Influenced by both orchestral traditions and the groove of 1970s soul, Nathaniel channels emotion through every note — whether it’s joy, envy, or reflection. For him, each performance is about creating a living emotional experience for his audience, keeping them connected and inspired from start to finish. 🎶 “When I play, I like to pick a single emotion and build the song around it. I want the audience to feel that journey.”

ORIGINAL TRACKS
Milwaukee violinist Nathaniel K. Lynn presents his original composition “Deceit.” The piece explores the feeling of false security — believing you’re protected, only to realize that safety may have been an illusion all along. Through haunting melodies and shifting tones, Nathaniel creates a soundscape that moves from comfort to tension, and finally returns to a fragile calm — the happiness before the storm. 🎶 “Deceit means thinking you’re protected by something, and then realizing it was never really there.”
