July 20, 2024.  Join us on a trip to pay tribute to our veterans. We will begin our trip at 9:30 am from the Watertown Plank Park and Ride, with an additional pick-up at the Pewaukee Park and Ride. We continue to the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison, WI where we share lunch (I) together. After lunch, we will enjoy a guided tour.

We leave the Veterans Museum right after the tour and head for Janesville where we attend Pistons and Props Air Show featuring a fly-in, aircraft displays, and a classic car show.

At 4 pm, we leave the airport for dinner (I). Following dinner, we return for the Hangar Dance. Dance lessons will be offered at 6 pm and the dance begins at 7 pm. Ladies Must Swing is an 18-piece all-female swing band based in Madison. They will entertain us this evening with that oh-so-sweet sound of 1940s swing. In addition to the great music, swing dancers are on deck to show off their moves. You can even join in the fun and dance the night away. This all takes place in a real airplane hangar!

At 9 pm, we head back to our pick-up points after a great day of tribute to our veterans!
