Join Milwaukee PBS this September and explore Olbrich Botanical Gardens with an
informative tour, followed by a delicious catered lunch. Then, experience the captivating Villa
Louis and its rich Wisconsin history.

8:30 am – Depart Watertown Plank Park and Ride with an additional pick-up at the Pewaukee (Golf Road) Park and Ride. Arrive at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison at 10:00 am where we are divided into groups for an hour-long tour of the gardens with plenty of facts and
history. Following the tour, we dine on a catered lunch (I) at the gardens. Following lunch, you are free to behold the beauty found here at your own pace.

1:15 pm – Board the bus and make our way to Villa Louis in Prairie du Chien. When you walk
through the doors of Villa Louis, you step into the life of one of Wisconsin’s most historic
families – The Dousmans. Located on the beautiful banks of the mighty Mississippi River, this
National Historic Landmark offers a plethora of Wisconsin history, from the first fur traders
through the Victorian era. There are hills and stairs on the tour.

Enjoy a wonderful dinner in Prairie du Chien and then return to our original pick-up points.
