Important Notes:

- Physical Requirements: This tour consists of an immense amount of walking and stair climbing. Rock City has moments of extremely thin passageways. People with claustrophobia will be challenged. There are very dark passageways in parts of Rock City. Some of the dark passageways include staircases.

Day 1: Sunday, April 11
Arrival & Welcome Dinner
- Departure: Meet the group at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) for our flight to Chattanooga.
- Evening: Land in Tennessee and meet our private motor coach. The bus transfers the group directly to a delicious Welcome Dinner (I).
- Night: Check into the Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast. Settle into your newly upgraded room for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 2: Monday, April 12
Rock City Exploration
- Morning: Enjoy a fresh, chef-prepared breakfast at the inn.
- 10:00 AM – Rock City Gardens: Take a short walk directly across the street to Rock City. Spend the greater part of your day embarking on an enchanted journey through spectacular rock formations, Lookout Mountain botanicals, and the magical underground gnomes of Fairyland Caverns.
- Mid-day:Group Lunch (I) served on-site at Rock City.
- 5:00 PM: Gather back at the Chanticleer Inn for a specially prepared, elegant group dinner (I).
Day 3: Tuesday, April 13
Incline Railway, Battlefield & Train Car Lodging
- Morning: Enjoy another chef-prepared breakfast (I) at the inn followed by room checkout.
- 9:00 AM – The Incline Railway: Board "America's Most Amazing Mile." Built in 1895, this historic landmark is one of the world’s steepest passenger railways. View the epic sweeping panorama of the Chattanooga skyline and winding Tennessee River through the rail car's glass roof.
- Late Morning – Chickamauga Battlefield: From the top of Lookout Mountain, enjoy a scenic three-block walk past stunning residential architecture, ending at the National Park Service's Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park. Here, we embark on an immersive, in-depth 90-minute guided tour of the historic battlefield.
- Mid-day: Take a break for a scheduled Group Lunch (I).
- Afternoon – Chattanooga Trolley Tour: Board a historic trolley for an educational and highly engaging sightseeing tour through the streets of Chattanooga.
- Evening: Check into The Hotel Chalet and settle into your historic train car room. You are at leisure tonight to explore the lively compound, with dinner on your own (NI) at one of the many walkable restaurants.
Day 4: Wednesday, April 14
Underground Wonders & River Cruise
- Morning: Fuel up with breakfast at the hotel (I), then depart for Ruby Falls.
- Mid-Morning – Ruby Falls Cave Tour: Descend 260 feet into Lookout Mountain via a glass-front elevator. Embark on a 90-minute guided cave tour to witness nature's hidden gem: a spectacular, thundering underground waterfall.
- Mid-day: Enjoy a post-cave Group Lunch (I), then return to The Hotel Chalet to relax and freshen up.
- Evening – Southern Belle Riverboat Cruise: Head to the pier for a delightful two-hour sunset dinner cruise (I) along the scenic Tennessee River aboard the historic Southern Belle Riverboat.
Day 5: Thursday, April 15
Farewell Chattanooga
- Morning: Enjoy a final breakfast (I) at the hotel followed by checkout.
- Departure: Transfer via motor coach to the airport for our return flight back to Milwaukee.
