This past weekend, Milwaukee PBS was recognized for excellence, both at the Milwaukee Press Club and the Wisconsin Broadcasters annual awards.
At the Milwaukee Press Club on May 3rd, Milwaukee PBS took home six Awards for Excellence in Journalism, including two gold awards - Best Multi-Story Coverage of a Single Feature Topic or Event: The Women Founders and Best Long Hard Feature Story for Adelante’s Voces de la Frontera- May Day.
At the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association annual gala on May 4th, Milwaukee PBS was awarded four more citations, including two first place honors. Adelante’s Somos Latinas won for Best Use of Video and Rhythm Café MKE was named Best Original Digital Content.
