Lied Lodge Tour

Join Milwaukee PBS this May on a four-day trip to Iowa and Nebraska.

May 15-18, 2023

Visit the Stonefield Historic Site. Explore the history and the home of Wisconsin’s first governor. See the largest collection of farm equipment and vintage tractors in the State Agricultural museum.

Visit the Pella Historical Museum including the Wyatt Earp Experience. Tour an official Vermeer Windmill and take in the giant blades and the superb view of Pella from the deck!

Enjoy the beauty of Lied Lodge; nestled in Nebraska City, Nebraska, this Arbor Day Farm encompasses 260 acres of natural beauty and historical significance. This national historic treasure is home to Lied Lodge, the one-of-a-kind Tree Adventure, the Apple House Market, and Arbor Lodge State Historical Park, which houses the Morton Mansion, the original home of the Morton family of Morton Salt fame.

Visit the Historic Park Inn in Mason City. The last remaining Frank Lloyd Wright hotel in the world– and it is our hotel for one night. Explore The Villa Louis a National Historic Landmark located on St. Feriole Island, in Prairie du Chien, southwestern Wisconsin. The site has been restored to its appearance during the late 19th century when it was the estate of the prominent H. Louis Dousman family, descendants of a fur trader and entrepreneur.
