Join Milwaukee PBS this June on a one-day trip to Baraboo, WI. 

Enjoy The New Life Lavender Cherry Farm for a self-guided tour, shopping, and a treat. The farm boasts over 25 varieties of lavender, 10,000 lavender plants, as well as 5 acres of wildflower fields. It is the perfect place to take in the view, smell the flowers, and indulge in lavender goodies.

Visit the Ochsner Park Zoo, the zoo first opened in 1926 with 2 bear cubs and some deer fawns, and now has over 30 different animal species. The majority of the animals are either rehabilitated wildlife that are not able to be released or animals rescued from the exotic pet trade.

Next, you will explore The Ringling Brothers Theater. Built in 1915 the AL. Ringling Theatre is a treasure of rare quality. Magnificent and richly designed in the style of grand French opera houses, the theatre is a masterpiece of European architecture.
 

Discover the AL Ringling Mansion on a guided tour. This spectacular red stone mansion was the home of legendary circus showman AL. Ringling and his wife Lou and later it became the home of Ida Ringling North, AL.’s only sister. The Ringling Bros. Circus was at its peak when the mansion was built. 

Dinner is at the event center at the mansion.
