Profit For You Tours invites you to join Milwaukee PBS on June 13 -15 for a bus trip to the Amana Colonies as we enjoy the rich history of the region.
Delight as we go back in time to experience and learn about the unique and rich history of the Amana Colonies in Amana, Iowa. During this three-day trip, you will visit Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of 20th century Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Also included, is an extensive tour of the Amana Colonies with a step-on guide who will share Amana history, point out places of interest, and shopping opportunities. The trip includes an overnight stay at the Hotel Millwright, inspired by its rich history, the combination of original textile mill elements and modern industrial design creates a one-of-a-kind experience.
On the last day, relax for a day aboard the Celebration Belle take in the scenic views as you traverse the Mighty Mississippi scenic shores, historic river towns, towering bluffs, powerful barges, and lock & dams. After arriving in Dubuque, Iowa around 6 pm, you will board a luxury coach for the return drive to Milwaukee.
