The show was also nominated for Outstanding Achievement in the Public Affairs/Current Affairs Programming category for ¡Adelante!'s segment on author Jimmy Baca.

The American Civil Liberties Union

In 2008 the American Civil Liberties Union's Other America Tour recognized Patricia Gomez for efforts by ¡Adelante! on behalf of Wisconsin youth.

La Rosa Blanca

The Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association honors community leaders with the La Rosa Blanca award. Nominees are individuals who went above and beyond in order to advance the principles of justice and diversity. In 2008 the WHLA recognized producer and host Patricia Gomez for demonstrating courage and leadership regarding legal issues affecting Hispanics.

Certificate of Commendation on Behalf of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle

In 2007 Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle honored Patricia Gomez with a certificate of commendation in recognition of her enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication in serving Wisconsin's Latino community and the people of the State of Wisconsin.

Voces de la Frontera

Voces de la Frontera is a leading immigrant rights group that believes people can overcome injustice to build a better world. In 2006 the grassroots organization bestowed Patricia Gomez with a certification of appreciation for hosting and producing "an excellent and informative program... extremely important to the Latino community."

Outstanding Service Award

In 2005 the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development honored show host and producer Patricia Gomez with their Outstanding Service Award. The WDWD recognized her in appreciation for outstanding support and contribution and expertise as a speaker to the Department's National Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.

The William Gorham Rice Civil Libertarian of the Year Award

Every year at the annual Bill of Rights Celebration the American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin recognizes leaders with The William Gorham Rice Civil Libertarian of the Year Award. In 2004 and 2005 the ACLU chapter honored ¡Adelante! and its staff with the prestigious award for their tireless work in the community in recognition of their outstanding dedication to civil liberties.

Certificate of Appreciation for Advocacy

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children awards ¡Adelante! with a Certificate of Appreciation for Advocacy on behalf of the 163,000 Latino children missing yearly in the United States.

Recognized by Milwaukee's Shepherd Express

In 2004 Milwaukee's Shepherd Express recognized Patricia Gomez as one of the city's most accomplished Latinas in the media area. As a Mexican native, Gomez has made the weekly Spanish-language program, ¡Adelante! into one of the Midwest's best Latino shows for its focus on education, social justice and culture.
