Under the general supervision of the General Manager the Chief Development Officer, this position is accountable for developing the vision and strategy and for leading the implementation of effective development efforts for Milwaukee PBS.
Under the direction of the General Manager of Milwaukee PBS, the Foundation Relations Coordinator is responsible for raising funds from foundation partners and major donors in support of Milwaukee PBS programming and community initiatives. The Coordinator serves as the lead grant writer for private sector gifts for Milwaukee PBS and is responsible to coordinate donor communications in partnership with Marketing and Communications. The Coordinator is also responsible for handling grants on behalf of Milwaukee PBS for potential funds that are often offered by PBS, CPB or other public media entities.
